Isn't it just a copycat of the Wii? No! The use of the PSEye camera and the glowing ball on top make it a far more precise and interesting system.
Do I have to buy a Navcon to play any games? Despite what your local Gamestop flunkie might tell you, absolutely not! Now, buying two Moves is a great idea, but you can wait on the Nav. Few games use it right now, and its functionality can be completely supplanted by the Sixaxis or Dualshock 3 you already have laying around at home (just make sure to rest it on your lap or something).I'm not the only one out there trying to steer potential buyers in the right direction, while also being honest about the technology's faults. iWaggle3D was leading this gravy train far before I ever hopped on and has already produced a wealth of informative videos that will teach you more about the Move than you'll ever get from a mainstream gaming site (many of which seem to be increasingly unreliable these days).
I hope to do the same in time, but I'm afraid I don't have quite the video setup he does. Still, I want to throw my chips in and do my part. So, please, stay tuned. With Microsoft's Kinect right around the corner and the Wii still a strong player in the market, it's going to be a bumpy ride.
